What do you know? Another Tulip

There was another tulip painting in there. It’s not the runt of the litter either. Well, maybe that’s not true. The runt got mostly painted out. I started from the sketch in the lower left, but the colors got pasty, and I didn’t like the shape. I painted out the flower, leaves and the bottom strip, and worked from the sketch in the upper left. Some of the old flower shows through, an effect that I like.
