James, actually this whirligig didn’t work as intended. After the wind reached a certain speed, about 10 mph, the whirligig would swing around wildly, which was interesting in itself. I could redesign it so that it would work. Over the past few years I have made several important improvements to my whirligigs. Take a look at http://www.youtube.com/chuckdunbar where I show most of my whirligigs. I have started to put up free plans at http://cdunbar.blogspot.com/
