Cathy and I added to our ceramic collection last month. This is our first piece by a Japanese potter. Tadashi Nishihata is from the village of Tachikui, one of the oldest pottery centers in Japan in the mountains northwest of Kyoto.

Having spent a lot of time with Microsoft Technical Support, I’d have to give them a ten out of ten. The two support folks spent more than a couple hours each working through the possible solutions to this problem. That cost $35US. The outcome: the problem did not lie with my internet software. The problem was centered in my blog. What to do? I don’t tamper with the HTML code, so I didn’t start there. Instead, I deleted the comments on my most recent entries thinking, possibly, the problem was inadvertantly introduced there. Problem solved! I have no idea what this means. If anybody has an idea, please let me know.
The people whose recent comments I deleted were Maurice, Tbolt and Edna. I should have checked after deleting each entry, but I didn’t.
Tbolt, at the risk of overstepping a boundry, I lifted this piece from your Doodle. There are scores of paintings or constructions in the Doodle image. This is just one tiny piece. If you’re cutting and pasting other doodles, you may have a whole treasure chest of powerful stuff.

Something a little zappier, higher chroma colors.

These are two of the eight drawings in the exhibition. The rest can be seen in the Tulip Mania Exhibition 2006 album. (I forgot to take a photo of one of the drawings.) All the drawings are 11.5″ x 9.25″ and all the paintings are 40″ x 30″.
