Edna and I have gotten together to draw twice so far during May. We will get together again later this week. These three drawings are from May 16. In the morning session when we were recklessly covering paper with spontaneous marks, some flowers popped up, or, maybe, I should say blossomed. We decided to see where they would go to. These are three of the four finished drawings we did that day. A week later we did four more.

We sold a fourth drawing from the Art Is...Ok Gallery exhibition. We take that show down the day after tomorrow.

Exhibit at Art Is...OK, May, 2007

Smearing Affront, 29" x 23" (74cm x 58cm), black pastel on Strathmore 2 ply rag Bristol

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I used Internet Explore to upload the photos for the exhibit at Art Is...OK. I stopped using Internet Explorer last fall because it didn't work anymore with Blog.com. That is when I switched to Fire Fox, which now won't upload photos. Anyway, the complete show is in the album Exhibit Art Is...OK 2007. Edna and I sold two drawings the evening of the opening. Later the gallery owner bought one. They were $195 each. The per-drawing price would be less for anyone wanting to purchase several drawings.

This is our wall at the gallery, Art Is...OK, with twelve of the sixteen drawings we hung.
